Cervia & Milano Marittima summer’s markets!
If shopping is what makes your world turn, then no place is better suited for you than Cervia and Milano Marittima! Here you’ll find all of the tips you need to discover all of the best markets in our towns, and a practical reminder of who sells what.
MONDAY
Starting the week in earnest, stroll just a few yards away from Hotel Solemare and Majestic to reach I Traversa. Here, from 17 to 24 p.m. you will find many stands offering a wide range of clothing and accessories.
TUESDAY
On Tuesday, at the very centre of Milano Marittima you will find a farmer’s market with biological and hand-made products. The market is located along Toscana Street, and is called “Il Giardino dei Semplici” (Genuine Market). At Cervia, alongside the Canal, the “Cervia a lume di candela” (Candlelit Cervia) market offers many local products varying from salt-based beauty products to other items.
WEDNESDAY
Thursday sees the opening of the Grand Antiques Market, located at Garibaldi Square in Historic Cervia. Try you luck while cruising the many stands, and you might find a true gem among the many antiques sold there.
THURSDAY
Friday opens with a large market at Andrea Costa Square, from 8 to 13 p.m-, one of the largest of the Province. Anything, from clothing accessories to street-food as piadina or fish-fry may be found on site. At evening, alongside Cervia’s Canal, you’ll find the perfect spot for your after-dinner amble, at artisanal-products market Borgomarina.
FRIDAY
Cervia, always the premiere place for markets, lightens up with the neighborhood market along Viale Roma, which offers mostly sweets stands and flower or fresh fruit sellers, ideal for a relaxing walk on the afternoon. All of the markets are easily reachable with a 10-minutes bike ride- The Hotel Solemare and Majestic offers its guest the use of its bikes, and provides a touristic-train ride (on street) every 30-minutes reaching all of the locations in less than 20-minutes.
